All about the politics

Pros

Flexible schedule and great co-workers.

Cons

This place is all about politics. Merger and then the new CEO changed things. Their incompetence with accurately analyzing spending has caused a huge budget deficit which is leading to a tremendous amount of layoffs- particularly in leadership and administrative roles; this also includes clinical positions. And if you don't play their game in politics, you're out. They will find any reason to let someone go and it doesn't matter how productive that person is. I've not only seen this personally but I've heard it from a large amount of individuals. That is incredibly disappointing and I would never recommend this place for employment. Job stability is questionable.

Pros

Good pay, nice co workers, work for a good cause on interesting projects that can really help the company and its patients.

Cons

Not female friendly and some managers lack integrity. Very stressful work environment. Enterprise is not mature. No official remote work opportunities in IT because CIOs friend wasn't mature enough to handle it. So everyone who works under him now suffers.

Pros

flexible schedule Ability to work overtime

Cons

political, covers up HR investigations, releases inaccurate lab results, does nothing to rectify inaccurate lab results when presented with evidence. Management is awful. Does not care about individuals only about cost savings. Management has final say in all HR issues even when it involves their friends who are in management.
