Pros

Great products, amazing influence from home base in Japan. Lots of potential for improvement. It has room to assess, innovate, and update the way they do things.

Cons

Outdated way of operation in terms of compliance and archaic management mentality. They are not very lean or agile. HR is an absolute joke.

Pros

Working at Hoshizaki America taught me a great deal about the commercial refrigeration equipment market and working in the technical writing department taught me a great deal about the inner working of many of the machines and how to properly and concisely write about them.

Cons

I can not think of necessarily a downside other than some pettiness among coworkers, but I tend to believe that falls on the individual and not the company.
