Pros

This company is a place where my qualifications can make a difference. HouseCall contains the challenge to keep me on my toes and promises rewards for top performance, this is the kind of job I like to anticipate every morning. HC is a great fit for what I've been interested in throughout my career. Being here offers a satisfying mix of short- and long-term activities. My short-term accomplishments keep me cranked up, and my long-term accomplishments make me feel like a billion bucks at the end of each of my days! If you're looking to go ALL THE WAY UP in both, your career and in LIFE, HouseCall is the perfect environment for you,IF YOU'RE willing to do the work it will surely pay off. This is where YOU need to be...Just like ME!

Cons

HuMMmmMM... I will have to get back to you on this one. I really can't think of any this second; I may come back to this, on second thought, I don't. None thus far

Pros

I really could go on and on about all the positive things about working at HouseCall, but I'll limit it to my top few. The best part of working here is hands down the company culture. If you are anti the corporate world like I am, HouseCall is your dream work environment. Everyone is encouraged to be themselves, and are accepted for whatever that may be. It's such a unique group of people but with two HUGE things in common..we work hard and have fun! Included in the company culture is the founders and team leaders of HouseCall; they truly are the reason why this business is great! They are some of the most creative, hardworking, and most importantly approachable people I have ever met. Seeing their passion for this business makes it easy to come in every day and hustle to bring their vision, our vision, to life! Overall accepting a position at HouseCall has been one of the best decisions I've ever made, I get up everyday excited to come to work!

Cons

Really, I can't think of anything.

All Pros and no Cons! Thank you for a great review. The saying "work hard, play hard" is almost cliche but here, it's the absolute truth. I conducted 60 1:1 interviews when I started here and I probably heard that same saying 40 times. Amazing. Good luck with your career here and let us know how we can support you.

Pros

great people, good software, fun and energetic environment, ok pay, ok training, good location, no micro-managing which is great. Management tries to care about you.

Cons

They hire for "Enrollment Specialist" which is for "inbound sales" and cold calling is what the position really is. They try to say "arctic ops" but they need to just call it what it is. The company is still new so its very unorganized. Growing pains are normal for a start up but Management is not as "transparent" as they advertise.

We really appreciate you taking the time to respond and obviously we appreciate the kind things you have to say about our environment, product and people. To the critical feedback you provided 1) start-ups are dynamic; the only constant is change and that is even more true at Housecall because we run fast, we're willing to take calculated risk on shipping fast and learning vs analyzing an idea to death. That means we won't be a fit for everyone but it is certainly our responsibility to be transparent. I own that and will make sure we're always being as clear as we can with the information we have at that time. 2) My job, specifically, is to add a bit more process to Housecall so that we can continue to scale. We have a great foundation, but given how fast we are growing, some guardrails will help. It's a fine line b/c the culture is, as outlined, one where we run fast, ship and learn. My goal is to keep that in place but to make sure that we are all set up for success. We are also adding in a layer of management for the first time, and we have a servant based mindset on that front. Team leads and managers are here to serve their teams, to provide support, to help with any roadblocks that pop-up, and to enable better decisions with data. The teams own the goal setting, decision making and accountability. Teams win and we've moved quickly to embrace that concept across the org. Let me know if you have any further thoughts for me. Thank you again for your input.
