Pros

When you work at HouseCall, and you wake up on a work day, you get the same feeling you got as a kid on Christmas morning. Opportunities are endless, and anything is possible. The people you work with are some of the most talented and inspiring people to work alongside with, and you are always encouraged to have your own voice. Also, did I mention there is a keg in the office? Yes...BEER!!!!! Need I say more?

Cons

Although we have beer, wine, food, games, beach days, and park events, we really lack in the amount of in-office scooters. Some rollerblades would be great, too!

We're thrilled that you love your job. We're lucky to have you as part of our team. What you are speaking to is exactly why employees join a start-up - great culture, great environment, and, ideally, everyone excited about showing up and doing the work. We're going to need more space before we take on scooters and rollerblades but that day won't be too far down the road. Thank you again for the feedback.

Pros

Awesome culture with energetic and laid back environment. Work hard play hard atmosphere and highly rewarding, if you deliver expected results. Plus, casual dress and all the perks of beautiful San Diego.

Cons

Constantly changing policies and some micromanagement in sales department. While we are given freedom and flexibility, missed quotas/goals can shut down a startup, so management can get a little crazy and unreasonable during these times.

Thanks for your feedback. A lot has changed in the Sales Team in the last three months. New organizational approach, the promotion of a top salesperson into a Sales Manager role, all wrapped around a team-based mindset. The results have been spectacular with new Pro enrollments doubling in the course of three months. Amazing, and a real credit to the strength of the people in that part of the org. We're lucky to have so much talent in one place and my belief is that it will only get better as we continue to hire sales people who are top performers from other orgs and who, at the same time, have a deep understanding and respect for the service professionals with whom we work. Ideally you are seeing the same benefit if you are still a part of the Sales Team!

Pros

Amazing company culture, great group of people to work with, everyone's opinion counts, really good start-up feel to the whole company. Very much a work-hard play-hard mentality!

Cons

It's a lot of work and there's a lot to learn, but it's manageable and everyone is helpful!

Thank you for your feedback. We want everyone to have a voice; it's good to hear that you feel the same way. You are right, as well, that there is always plenty of work to do. Our view is that the service professionals that we partner with are incredibly hard working. They have to hustle every day. We should do the same. If the sales team comes in on a Saturday, the Execs will be there as well and we'll make sure everyone is well fed and has a beer, if they want, at the end of the day.
