Pros

Worked for over 6yrs. Once hired it is almost impossible to get fired even when the person should have been let go lawsuits ago. They have a whole department/lawyers in house to fight all.of their legal battles and investigations by federal govt.

Cons

Once hired you will be assigned multiple position duties for multiple departments in most cases, and even through they are higher paying positions/titles. HCC will not pay nor acknowledge the lack of titling positions correctly with associated compensation. small pay increases, 1% a year. Very corrupt

Pros

The benefits are reduced tuition for HCC classes, tuition reimbursement for external coursework, medical and dental insurance, 401k retirement plan, also in the process of major, badly needed changes across the whole system

Cons

Nepotism, cronyism, corruption at higher levels, ineffectual management, interdepartmental gossip, the HR department has a reputation for cruelty and indifference that gets worse as it goes higher up --evil that qualifies for a Hollywood documentary
