Pros

HubSpot moves fast and invests in its people. While at HubSpot I have seen a massive effort to improve internal tools and to ensure people have what they need to get the job done. You are able to make a large impact because you are responsible for what you do and you own the things you are working on.

Cons

Things can get hectic very quick as things move fast and if you aren't into that it could be an issue.

Thanks for being a Senior SWE on our team and helping our engineering team grow better, I'm deeply grateful for your hard work. Hectic is definitely a good word to describe how it feels here sometimes, and I promise we'll continue taking good care of our employees--it's some of the most important work we do here, so thanks for the callout and for your impact on our company. Sincerely, Katie

Pros

HuBSpot has an incredible work culture which in turn attracts amazing colleagues. I have never worked with a more impressive set of individuals. They are amazing at their jobs but are so supportive, kind, empathetic and clever. There is no politics and everyone works hard for the good of our customers

Cons

None other than the time zone differences. I personally have to be really mindful about not trying to spread myself too much over 2 time zones. That is a personal challenge not a company one.

I found a pocket of reviews I somehow missed, and I'm so sorry for the delay-thanks for your feedback, for helping our product and company grow better, and for the callout on the importance of life-work integration in two time zones, you're spot on it can be a challenge (particularly when you add teams that work with APAC) so we have to be mindful of it. Thanks for helping us grow better and for your thoughtful review, and so sorry it took me a bit to get back to you, I'm beyond grateful for the feedback here. -Katie

Pros

I've worked here for almost three years and have never considered leaving. I am supported in my job, work with amazing people, and have had many opportunities to grow my career. Support for flexible work schedules and remote work is also great.

Cons

Like most tech companies, the engineering team is very white and male. However there have been a lot of efforts to try to fix this in the past few years.

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this and for spending 3 years with our team. I'm delighted to hear you feel our commitment to flexibility, and would agree with you we have work to do on D&I in tech--I'm personally very proud to see Eric so visible and leading from the front on this issue, and feel given the entire engineering leadership commitment to changing this that we'll see meaningful progress in the year to come. Thanks for the feedback and for all you do at HubSpot. Sincerely, Katie
