Pros

Very young team, even the management team is pretty young. Open to new ideas and changes. International environment. Friendly to non-Dutch speakers. People are open-minded, tolerant. Flexible management.

Cons

To some extents, company culture, equality, diversity etc., is used to covered up the poor wage. Unsatisfactory salary and few benefits leads to insanely high liquidity. Bunch of people come and go every month. Lots of changes and chaos. New joiners are lack of experience and aren't get adequate onboarding trainings. Role responsibility is not clear. Some people work mindlessly and pass the buck. Internal workflow is messy and changed frequently. Some employees get very less workload and still deliver poor quality work. People who really do their job get massive workload and always have to clear the chaos created by mindless co-workers. Part of management team fails to fulfill its duties. Voice from subordinates is being ignored. Bottom-up communication is not open enough.

Pros

Fun work culture - we play Magic Cards and Pickleball over lunch. Opportunity to learn. Lots of active customers - who we can offer a valuable service. Good work life balance.

Cons

I'm only 4 months in... so I've not hit any walls - but l'm happy here.

Pros

You can be your true self at Hubs. Every culture is accepted and people are willing to learn from each other. One of the cultural values is "we are all students and teachers" and it is very true. Everyone is open to learn from each other and share their experiences. Since I am part of the team, I had a great chance to learn and grow. Amazing office space, both in Amsterdam and Chicago. Many cool events. Management team is very involved with the engagement of the employees. Benefits and perks have gotten better since I joined. Very flexible, at Hubs they know that life outside work is equally important and accept your (maybe) weird schedule.

Cons

Sometimes is not very clear how the integration with Protolabs is going, things are moving pretty slow. On one hand, better this way so we have the chance to adapt and share our point of view, mostly very heard by Protolabs. Still mostly a man company, but recruitment is doing their very best to turn things around.
