I worked in the hospital side of the Jack. I still hold it as my gold standard for facility procedures, morale and professionalism.

Small hospital can be a pro for some

Cons

Detached , money-driven ownership by physicians. The bottom line is money. The management team are morons, a lot of the nurses (and ER physicians) can't get jobs elsewhere due to conduct/mistakes, and the turnover in a lot of departments is ridiculous. AVOID the ER at all costs!!!
