Pros

Company is trying to do the right thing organizationally. The people team is hosting a lot of interesting webinars.

Cons

Tech side lacks good leadership. VP is pretty much hands on and does not give any room to be empowered to do the right thing. Lack of ownership on the tech side. You don't really know who owns what. No domain expertise either, most original developers left. Product is relying on engineering to do the product decisions. People leave - again because of poor leadership and no communication.

Pros

The ability to fool investors into thinking this is a company with potential and will return a profit on their investment. The ability to fool customers into thinking this is a company that is worth selecting for their 401(K) plans and providing this as a "benefit" to their employees. The ability to fool 401(K) plan participants into thinking this is a company worth using to save for retirement. The ability to fool employees into thinking this is a company worth working for.

Cons

Thinking we are disrupting an industry and actually doing something different. The only thing we do differently is not following regulations, not providing basic customer service and not providing a diverse and inclusive workplace, unless you count one that is young and male only.

Pros

My co-workers were awesome! So knowledgeable and helpful! I learned a lot about 401k's!

Cons

Workloads are very heavy for everyone. I was afraid to open my email or listen to my voice mails because you have clients constantly yelling at you because something is broken, missing, unpaid, overpaid..... So they have valid reasons to be upset. As a CSR you're just a first line punching bag, making excuse after excuse for what has gone wrong and it becomes inexcusable very quickly. Clients are overcharged by thousands for months on end and when you submit to get refunds you are told to figure out how much they were over charged by the very people that over charged them. Problems that should belong to specific departments fall on the CSR's because we have to figure out which problem belongs to which department and you have to guess and submit tickets based on the problem and if you get it wrong, you won't know about it till 4 to 6 weeks after you submit and the problem has snowballed into something ridiculous.
