      Too political, no place for talent. Humana needs Guidance.

      Pros

      Better pay. The benefits are ok. Some co-workers were and great to work with.

      Cons

      Too many politics. Too much of favoritism and good work never reaches the Sr. Management. No recognition for hard work and success. The middle management is inefficient in providing guidance. No defined structure/process and different Sr. Directors/VP's have different views in operating the organization. Management encourages ( forces) for your frank inputs on process improvements only to use them against you.

      Pros

      Ability to strengthen communication and technological skills. I have had the opportunity to work in 5 different roles in the 5+ years of working at Humana.

      Cons

      It can feel like a political environment at times. It is important to build relationships with those in leadership positions by showing them that you are competent and accountable.
