Colleagues and team building atmosphere

Cons

There are many - ranging from technical support and resources to unclear mission. However, micromanagement and complete focus on “cost-savings” top the list - this essentially translated to lay-offs and compromised client care. However, the company still reports “record” profits for shareholders. Working for this company confirmed all my worst suspicions regarding insurance companies’ motivations. It is certainly not the place for a professional to be operating at top-of-license.

Pros

The company itself is amazing. Such a strong focus on health and well being at a corporate level, which is exemplified through the company values. So many great people and great leaders. I was truly blessed to work with many great leaders before my last assignment.

Cons

The direct leadership (manager/associate director level) of this department. I have never felt so unappreciated, belittled and unheard in all my professional career. Micro managing with a true lack of trust in their employees.
