Pros

* Great company with great market expertise. * Great diversity program with leadership backing. * Growing market opportunities with good execution. * Best internal helpdesk support of any employer I've ever had. * Very competitive salary and generous severance package.

Cons

* Diversity programs were more talk than action with very little evidence of long-term effectiveness. * Very cliquey and opaque cultural expectations which was odd since the cultural values and leadership expectations were extraordinarily explicit. * Long hours with poor follow-through on stated support. * Okay but limited market outlook as the product delivery is based primarily on past performance. Investments in repeatable solutions didn't appear to be effective to me.

Pros

Salary was not bad. They are competitve

Cons

So many things wrong, so many lies, so many back stabbings, so many incompetent leaders. From director level on up, it's all about cool-aid and lying to keep the troops in line. Complete lack of project management knowledge, and skills at the executive level. Cancel culture run wild, and huge socialist mindset. Stay far far away.

Pros

It's the luck of the draw, but you may get to work with some fantastic clients and colleagues. You also get to keep the Amex points you rack up on the corporate card, though that's less important when not traveling. Benefits are adequate - 401k match fully vesting after 2 years (longer than you might think) and good health insurance options, but the stock ownership plan is overly restrictive.

Cons

This is still consulting, and you might be unlucky and be stuck with scatterbrained clients and micromanaging directors. Work/life balance is hit or miss. Client work always comes first. Have a demanding client? Or a demanding director? Prepare to work 60+ hours a week for months. Diversity at Huron is a joke - the company is 80%+ white, and leadership is primarily white and male. Promotions seem to come easier to those who are white males as well. Compensation is well below other management consulting firms. On a separate but related note, management has not been receptive to calls for a comprehensive compensation equity review.
