Pros
Education, The company is more then willing to spend money on expanding your experience and learning since being at IBM for just over 3 years they have spent well over 100g to further my education. all these courses were hands on in small classrooms and benefited me greatly in my day to day work role. (the money spent includes flights, hotel, expenses etc). Movement in the company is also a huge benefit to joining IBM, provided you are a hard worker with a willingness to learn and grow there is a lot of opportunity to move within IBM not only organizationally but also to different job roles in different countries, IBM is a world wide company and gives you the opportunities to do so.
Cons
As a large company with a large number of share holders the company makes a lot of money saving decisions that don't offer much to the employee, small raises, no bonuses and expense crunches
