Accessible for Beginners, but Severely Lacking in Leadership and Support

No degree required, making the company accessible to many applicants. Also, when you come in the training staff are supportive and provide helpful resources for learning the role. Paid holidays are offered for most, though certain days that function like comp time aren’t always treated consistently and last I loved how ICCU participates in community-focused initiatives.
Cons
The overall culture often feels tense, with communication from leadership creating an environment where employees are hesitant to speak up. Management frequently prioritizes authority over employee development, and requests for coaching or guidance are often discouraged rather than supported. Workplace safety and well‑being concerns are not always handled transparently, which can erode trust among staff. Scheduling can be difficult, PTO approvals are inconsistent, and compensation tends to fall below industry standards. Additionally, the health insurance plan offers very limited coverage and is generally only useful for urgent care, leaving employees without reliable support for most other medical needs.
