We appreciate the time you've taken to provide feedback. At ICF, we encourage regular feedback between employees and their managers and hope you had the time to communicate your challenges before leaving. Whilst we audit our salaries and compensation against other industries annually to ensure they are fair and competitive, we value your input - GM

Pros

The people are great and the breadth of projects interesting. Allowed to do things above level to learn and grow.

Cons

Having to bill hours to orient contracts is difficult. Sometimes it is expected you will work over 40 hours a week. It’s in the company culture.

Thank you for your four-star review. As someone who has done work both as billable hours and not, it can be tricky to get it right. But like any professional services firm, whether it's an agency or consulting company, it's a standard practice to demonstrate the number of hours worked on specific projects or tasks as you typically have more than one client or project. That said, we encourage you to set expectations with your team when you are working and when you are not. If employees feel those boundaries are not respected, we encourage you to discuss with your manager. Hope this helps and thank you again for taking the time to leave us a review. -HS

Thank you for your review. Employees’ expectations of employers continually evolve, so we seek regular feedback from our teams through a variety of channels. Employees value meaningful and challenging work, flexibility and balance in their lives, transparency from leadership, and opportunities for career growth. This helps us evolve what we offer. We also encourage employees to take part in quarterly impact conversations, a two-way discussion where they can discuss real-time challenges and opportunities with their manager. --- LL
