Pros

Occasional interesting project comes around. 5% 401k match, fully vested. Benefits aren't horrible

Cons

Everything is urgent except for raises and promotions. Very little upward mobility, can make 10-20% more at the other med device companies in the area. They would rather outsource talent than promote from within. 3 weeks vacation to start and very little work flexibility (manager dependent, but upper management is against work from home).

Pros

- The acquisition by ICU Medical brought initial optimism and opportunities. - The company has a strong portfolio and established market presence. - Great co-workers with a collaborative spirit and strong commitment to the team and projects, truly a testament to their dedication to ICU Medical till the end.

Cons

**Reduction in Staffing and Resources:** Since ICU Medical acquired Smiths, there has been a noticeable reduction in staffing and resources. This has significantly impacted our productivity and morale. - **Closure of Labs:** Over the past year, several labs have been closed with no real focus plan or understanding across multiple sites, further hindering our ability to perform and innovate in the USA. - **Lack of New Information:** Product Development Meetings often share information already available through company updates, with very little new or actionable information. There is no clear roadmap or plan for the future. - **Disconnected Leadership:** There is a strong feeling of disconnection from the main company. ICU Medical seems to lack a unified voice and clear measures from leadership. This disconnection has led to uncertainty about the future and a lack of direction. - **Negative Outlook for the Future:** Many on-site employees feel that the future of our site is bleak. There is a pervasive belief that operations might end by 2025, which is discouraging, especially for young individuals looking for career growth and stability.
