      Pros

      ESOP is attractive but you won’t want to stick around long enough to benefit.

      Cons

      Salaries are at or below market and work/life balance is nonexistent. The New Berlin corporate workforce is very homogeneous and the workplace survey results that the company touts are a direct result of this homogenous workforce. Your function’s executive will make or break your time at IEWC. It’s a mixed bag so make sure to vet them just as carefully as they vet you if you have the opportunity to meet with them during the interview process. For example, the CIO and CFO are personable leaders with expertise in the function(s) they lead. Meet the CHRO and it’s easy to see why turnover within the HR department has been so high over the past 2 years.

      We regret to hear that you did not enjoy your experience at IEWC. For the benefit of others reading this, our primary employee engagement survey is a “Global” survey that includes all of our employees from around the world. As such, it is certainly not homogeneous and we are very proud of the high participation rate (regularly over 80%) and great results which have led to us being recognized as a repeat Top Workplace winner! Regarding work/life balance, the majority of employee feedback tells us most enjoy a great deal of flexibility including our “Work from Anywhere Friday’s” in which many employees work from home. Compensation is very competitive and the unique employee ownership is an incredible benefit. As a best practice for anyone considering new employment, we agree and encourage getting to know the team you will be joining to insure it is a good fit for you.

      Beware of Company than cannot keep HR Personnel - Red Flags

      ESOP Bonus Program Cross Department training for those interested

      Cons

      There is a reason this company has gone through 6 HR Directors in 7 years. Leadership puts "Progress over People", out of touch with their employees Well known that HR firms will not place people here because of the toxic culture, new hires are by referral only. Stigmatized work from home program, doesn't trust employees to do their jobs. Leadership attempts to speak a culture into existence while actively making decisions to reduce moral.

      Worst Management Team I’ve seen in 20 years

      Pros

      They bait you with the employee stock option plan ESOP and then it’s just a train wreck in management skills from senior leadership after that.

      Cons

      The CEO and his leadership “team” don’t know the first thing about leadership, or their own accountability. Will use others as a scapegoat quickly and have no loyalty to you as an executive staff member. If you are a Sr Mgr or above do your diligence on this team before you accept.

Not sure who you are referring to with Dave; however, we test our culture semiannually with engagement surveys and we have over 80% of our employees participate. As a result, we've been recognized by the Milwaukee Business Journal with the Best Places to Work Award - 3 years in a row - and have been recognized as a Top Workplace by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
