Pros

Good work-life balance, great people

Cons

Just went through a recent reorg to introduce efficiency and speed to market. Still retained bloated, highly matrixed structure and consensus culture—the opposite of faster. Lots of pressure to conform to the culture of nice. Very uneven pay and advancement opportunities amongst sub-orgs. No prioritization of the many initiatives that are developed by disparate groups. Five months post re-org, no training or communication about what will be different.

Employee Rates when available Recognizing and celebrating success for all employees Room for advancement before third party outsourcing took over.

Cons

Poor Work/ Life Balance High health care costs Poor Senior Management High pressure to hit goals when centers in Salt Lake and Charleston are closing by November as employees are leaving at a high rate. Placing more pressure on existing employees. Low morale. Pay rate is not competitive.

Pros

Great company culture. You can tell that this is an European-model company. They have great aspirations. Employees are treated far better here than most all of my previous employers.

Cons

That same culture creates slowness in decision-making. The technology organization is still low on the maturity model.
