Pros

If you're looking for job security, decent salary and (now, following the restructuring) career progression then ING is not a bad choice.

Cons

This is, in most respects, the most generic giant corporation you can imagine. Management and administration are not incompetent, but they are stuck in 1980s. Micromanagement is rampant, modern management methods and long-term planning are virtually non-existent. Senior management has mostly been recruited from good financiers, not good leaders; this shows. Worst of all, upper management, most of whom have been with the company for 15+ years, exist in a vacuum and show no interest in modern approaches and resources that other companies now happily utilize.
