Pros

I've found IQPC to be a positive place to work. They care about the development of individuals, offer strong opportunities for promotion / new roles and support the well being of it's staff. Hard work and strong performance is always recognised, and it's very much a meritocracy with a flat management structure A prime examples of this is the management development programme, which all those identified as potential managers or leaders are put on - those on this pathway come from all parts of the business, and for those starting their careers, it's a great opportunity to move into management positions / take extra responsibility.

Cons

Events is a fast moving and - at times - stressful environment. Personally, I love it, but it's worth bearing in mind the pace of work in this field, as it can take a wile to adjust to.

Pros

I found the company to be very supportive and help me in my career. The leadership have backed me and helped me improve year on year. I find the company recognise and reward those who work hard. Being a part of a charity group in the company has been one of my highlights.

Cons

No cons at all since I joined. I love it here.

Pros

I've been working at IQPC for 3 years in the production function, across multiple teams in the business. I'm currently working as a Senior Conference Producer for the Defence iQ division, working on stage 1 and large scale events from 200 to 500 attendees. Within my 3 years at IQPC I've received support from and exposure to many senior leaders in the business to help define my career path as I progress in my role. I have had the opportunity to take part in two levels of the Management Development Programme, led by external partners, giving me the opportunity to meet with other people in the business that I would not necessarily interact with, and exposing me to new ideas and concepts outside of my day to day role. IQPC also has a great mentoring programme, focused specifically on developing my leadership skills and increasing self-confidence to help me hone in on skills needed for my future progression at the company. IQPC also offer extensive employee benefits, including access to a Medicash health benefits service, which has been great to support with everyday medical costs like dentist and opticians!

Cons

The production function of IQPC is very fast pace, and you are thrown into the deep end on your first day of work. If you prefer a slower onboarding process, this might not be the best environment for you. IQPC is a big company, so you won't necessarily get to know everyone in the business. However, there are plenty of opportunity to network internally and get connected to the right people!
