Cons
Management is lost at sea and can't change course. Quintiles has now reached a size that is not easy to change course. The overburdening SOPs combined with the pervasive "that's not my job" attitude is slowly chipping away at what was once an exciting place to work. Don't expect a personal life when working for Quintiles. There is no such thing as a vacation. They would like everyone to believe that they are there for patients and the human factor is important as are their employees, in the end it all comes down to the almighty $. Something that has only been exaggerated since Tom took the reins. Employee engagement continues to decline. Rumor has it there is a hiring freeze and lay-offs are silently happening due to the pending merger with IMS.
