Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted that you enjoy working with your colleagues and recognise our fantastic tech stack. We are proud to offer our employee an extensive range of benefits, with our UK employees enjoying 26 days holiday plus 3 Giving Back Days, company funded private healthcare, guaranteed income protection, life insurance, and matched pensions with NI uplift, as well as a host of opt-in benefits from discounted gym memberships, our electric car scheme, cycle to work scheme, and tech scheme. We are delighted to be officially recognised as a Real Living Wage employer, meaning we are committed to paying a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK as calculated by the Real Living Wage Foundation. In addition, we run an annual salary review each autumn, where we use a best practice and evidence-led process to fair and competitive salary increases, as well as providing bonus plans and offering pay scales in select departments to reward employees when they hit career milestones. We value our employees’ feedback and encourage all our staff to share their feedback with us in our monthly engagement survey via Peakon, reach out to our Employee Voice Ambassadors, leave helpful suggestions in our many initiative-dedicated inboxes, and in our annual Great Place to Work surveys. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Kind regards, the HR team

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are delighted that you recognise IRIS’ continued growth and the extensive range of outstanding products and services we provide for our customers. We are very proud of our fantastic IRIS family who #MakeItHappen everyday with #Passion and #TeamWork. We appreciate that we are a fast paced and ambitious organisation, with exciting new opportunities and initiatives taking place across the business. We work hard to ensure that we are frequently sharing our objectives and initiatives to our employees through company-wide communications, from monthly global updates, regular newsletters for employees and managers, weekly emails from our CEO detailing upcoming events and celebrating recent successes, as well as through our Global Teams Channel. This helps employees to know what we are doing, why we are doing it, and how it ties into our overall goals. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Kind regards, the HR team

Pros

Wages were average although were set by FMP Global before being acquired. Pension & some benefits were a nice perk. Paid sick leave up to 15 days. Some flexibility but manager depending and much less than they make out.

Cons

An incredibly understaffed team with lots of manager movement (usually down the scale rather than up) and very high staff turnover which is no doubt due to the chronic overwork. Breaks are impossible to take as the work is piled on high and deadlines just unmanageable. Staff are incredibly unhappy yet silenced and regarded as "negative". A ridiculous system in place to buddy up and cover work when someone is out sick (which is a constant) or on holiday which means staff regularly work over their allocated hours just to try to keep on top of client's emails. They encourage Giving Back Days yet it's impossible to ever take them with the workload. They say they value mental health yet put on the odd lunch time webinar (as if we had time to ever attend)

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we are surprised and disappointed by your comments. When an acquisition joins our family, we work closely with our business leaders to maintain a positive culture and make significant investments in our new team members when we invite them to join our competitive benefits package and extensive training, development and progression opportunities. We also include our acquisitions in our annual salary review each autumn, to achieve a pay parity with the rest of the IRIS group. We are delighted to have also welcomed 13 new hires into our International Payroll Services within the last year, expanding our team to 34. We care deeply about our employee wellbeing and mental health and are extremely proud to have been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing. We signpost and provide a range of physical, mental, and financial wellbeing, such as our incredible Mental Health First Aiders, our Belonging Champions, daily wellbeing nudges, our weekly workplace support group, company-funded access to talking therapies, wellbeing apps, an Employee Assistance Program, and Mindfulness training. We also have a dedicated Wellbeing intranet page where employee can access all of these resources and find specific and tailored support. We are proud to encourage employees to share their feedback with us through our engagement survey tool, Peakon, which gives everyone the opportunity to send suggestions directly to managers to support planning and prioritising workloads effectively. We are delighted that our engagement score for International Payroll Services is at the true benchmark and has consistently been improving over time. We are also scoring high on ‘Management Support’, ‘Organisational Fit’, and ‘Goal Setting’ as drivers of engagement within the team. Our employees can also share their feedback with our 48 Employee Voice Ambassadors across the business, who support business improvements by listening to the team’s feedback and presenting their findings at monthly breakfast meetings with their Executive member and Heads of Function. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please reach out to the HR team or email EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. We wish you all the best in the future. Kind regards, the HR team
