Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, although we are surprised and disappointed by your comments. We run an annual salary review each autumn, where we use a best practice and evidence-led process to fair and competitive salary increases, taking into consideration several influencing factors to ensure we are taking a fair and informed approach. We're also proud to be officially recognised as a Real Living Wage employer, meaning we are committed to paying a fair wage to cover at least the real cost of living in the UK as calculated by the Real Living Wage Foundation. We also hold annual performance appraisals in May. Our Year in Review discussions are a great opportunity to agree your objectives with your manager, set expectations, and define what support you need to deliver great things in the coming financial year. We work hard across IRIS to give all managers the skills they need to motivate, develop, and inspire their teams. Our ‘Managing with IMPACT’ training programme, which has currently supported 74 managers in the past 12 months and has 15 managers starting the course soon, provides ongoing support, communication, emotional intelligence and practical training, HR coaching, and wellbeing tools to ensure that their employees are performing at their best. One of our core IRIS values is #CustomerFocus, and we encourage all our employees to put the customer at the heart of what they do. We are proud to run an extensive induction training for our Customer Support team, delivered by our Customer Service experts who are able to bring the training to life with their own experiences. In addition, to support our employees and build their knowledge, our IRIS help hub provides individual help centres for our range of products. This includes 18 help centres which provide information and knowledge articles on the products for both colleagues and customers. We are also proud to conduct regular customer surveys to gather valuable feedback on what we are doing right and where we can prioritise and invest in development and innovation to drive continuous customer-focused change across the business. We do this through a Net Promoter Score (NPS), which is an industry-recognised index that measures the likelihood of our customers to recommend our products or services to others. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Kind regards, the HR team

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. We’re delighted that you recognise IRIS as a great place to work. We are very proud to have been officially recognised as such by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, employee experience and leadership behaviours, for the second year in a row. We were also delighted to have been ranked as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces, Best Workplaces for Wellbeing, and Best Workplaces for Women. We are proud to have numerous offices throughout the UK and overseas. Our closest UK office to London is now our Heathrow Approach office, which is near Heathrow Airport, in Slough. We are committed to helping our employees find the right working pattern and location for them and are proud to offer a range of flexible working options, including part time hours, term time only contracts, as well as remote and hybrid working opportunities. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please contact EmployeeFeedback@iris.co.uk. Kind regards, the HR team

Pros

there are some excellent people who work at IRIS and the benefits and packages are good

Cons

Everything the company seems to do is poorly planned and done in a rush and without enough resources in the right places. This means corners are constantly cut and quick fixes are the norm, not the exception. There are massive holes that need to be filled in the business systems and processing which cause many of the problems, the rest is caused by a very extroverted culture, if you shout loudly you tend to get resources and budget, people who know what they are doing are often ignored for giving realistic but often unpalatable advice.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review, although we were surprised and disappointed by your comments. We are very proud to have heavily invested in Quantum, our world-class integrated software platform which replaces isolated processes across our business with a fully integrated set of systems, to provide a better customer experience and maximise cross-sell opportunities. We have received lots of good feedback from employees on the improvements these systems have provided to their work processes, and we are proud to continue to invest in this area. We appreciate that we are a fast paced and ambitious organisation with clear goals and objectives that are established on a regular basis. We do our upmost to communicate our plans and priorities through our extensive communication strategy, which utilises monthly site updates, regular newsletters, weekly emails from our CEO, and the use of our Global Teams Channel to let employees know why we are doing something and how it ties into our overall goals. We have recently established Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for each department which specifically set out the priorities and goals for each function. This helps us focus on what’s really important for driving our success in the year ahead. Our strategies are also continually shaped by our employees’ views and expertise. We encourage all our employees to share their feedback in our monthly employee surveys (Peakon), various dedicated inboxes, and our annual Great Place to Work survey. We also are proud to have 35 Employee Voice Ambassadors (EVAs) across multiple departments. We’re always looking for ways we can be the best we can be, and we would welcome any further suggestions. Please speak to your HR representative or leave a comment in our next Peakon survey. Kind regards, the HR team.
