Pros

You get to work with some big name clients, non-management coworkers are friendly and caring and there's room for advancement since the company is small.

Cons

If you notice that some of the five star reviews read very similar, it's probably because they were written by management or an employee told to write it by them. The company owner and 2nd in command even gave the company a 5 star review on facebook to raise the review score. Management is too concerned with the outward appearance of the company and it's hurting the company culture. Successes are never done by one employee, they're only used to make the owner look good. The company owner takes business too personally and has a huge problem with micromanaging. She often says things that are not true or blown out of proportion to make herself or the company look good. What's worse is that she's passed her poor management skills onto her 2nd in command who talks down to everyone and is just plain mean. There are little to no benefits with this job and the wages are low for the area and the industry. Turnover is higher here than at other agencies because management has the attitude that employees are replaceable. Employees complain that the job is so stressful that it makes them sick/cry alot and many of them feel guilty for going home at the normal time. There's alot of talk about the open door policy and how they only hire/work with nice people, but that's really part of the outward appearance and isnt followed through on during the work day.

Just an Overall Great Company to Work For

Pros

I started out here as an intern in April of this year, and when I got here, my expectations were high. Since I have started, I have never been disappointed. I have since been promoted to a full time employee and still have had nothing but great experiences. I have had the opportunity to work on many clients ranging from those who sell beauty products, to a hairstylist who appears on NYFW, to a dry cleaning franchise. The possibilities are endless in who you could be representing on social. I have also grown professionally over the past 8 months thanks to the awesome leadership we have here. I'm happy with the direction the company is headed in and honestly, the sky is the limit for how far we will go. If you are looking for a company where you get to work with an awesome team, great clients and learn a lot, than this is the place for you.

Cons

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this company. Management has been great to me ever since I started, and they have welcomed me in to the point where I feel like we are all a big family here.

Pros

The staff members at Ideas That Evoke are quite simply the best of the best. I look forward to working with my team every day and the work itself is really fun. I am literally never bored and I thrive on that! I've learned so much since I started at the agency. It's also really fun to be part of the team as its growing at such a quick rate. I feel like I make a difference on the team overall.

Cons

It is intense work. This agency moves incredibly fast, and the social landscape is always changing. If you want easygoing, go somewhere else. If you're not willing to seek out feedback and learn, you won't make it here.
