Pros

Grand Rounds truly cares about their employees and their patients. Because of this focus on what are employees and members need, instead of the bottom line, we are able to empathetically provide a service that so many people really need. The last few months have been incredibly challenging for everyone in health care, but Grand Rounds has done everything right during the pandemic. Our leadership has prioritized employee safety by supporting everyone to work at home and pivoted quickly to provide telemedicine to our patients. I am so glad I worked here at this time.

Cons

We're moving fast, and growing fast! That can be challenging for people who don't feel comfortable with that pace, though leadership makes every attempt to transition smoothly and effectively.

The role and the work are engaging. What we do changes to always better serve our patients / customers so it is never boring. Collaboration is positive and employee ideas for improvement are encouraged.

Cons

You have to be able to adapt to changing workflows ( but this is what keeps it engaging and we’re employee ideas get planted )

I joined Grand Rounds for three reasons: I wanted to grow professionally, I wanted to be at a high-growth company, and I wanted to do something different in tech (not ads, not social media). I found those things here and am getting exactly what I wanted.

Cons

High-growth and startup companies are not for everyone: they change, sometimes rapidly. If you're seeking a safe and stable job where you can disappear into the background and eek out a very comfortable existence, this is not the place for you.
