Great People, Great Service, Good Solutions

Pros

1. Smart, thoughtful and dedicated team members. 2. Great place to grow professionally. If you are willing, have an open mind and entrepreneurial spirit, you will learn something new every day at Influence Health. 3. Incredible flexibility, easy-going and informal atmosphere. 4. Great benefits: Unlimited PTO, paid sabbatical after 5 years of service, 401K and HSA contributions by the company, and many more.

Cons

1. Negative employees. Every company has its share of negative people who lack the professional experience to understand the way business works or lack the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. 2. Continuous reinvention (this could be perceived as a “con” by some). Influence Health has reinvented itself multiple times in an effort to stay competitive and ahead of the market. Comment: To work at Influence Health, you must have a resilient personality: be adaptable to change and be comfortable with ambiguity—you must be able persevere and produce good results regardless of organizational change.

A sincere thank you for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. Balanced feedback such as this is so helpful in our efforts to continuously make Influence Health a better place to work. While change is inevitable at all companies, we acknowledge that the rate of change here is pretty significant. While it poses challenges, we truly believe it is necessary to keep pace with the rapidly shifting dynamics of the market we serve. As you pointed out, those who feel deeply connected to our mission to improve the healthcare consumer experience can always find the energy and tenacity needed to weather those changes. We thank you for your part in helping us make healthcare better!

Pros

Work/life balance is a pro

Cons

High turnover rate in upper management and services staff year over year directly impacting client morale, employee morale (domino effect of resignations) and performance. Be prepared for regular company-wide layoffs, despite any promotion promises, in desperate attempts for them to look more profitable on paper after bad product visions.

It is not just a figure of speech when we say that it is never easy to part ways with valuable employees and colleagues, and it always hurts when we learn that an employee's experience at Influence Health left them with a negative long-term perception of the company. While we don't want to start an argument, we do think it is important to respond to this review by sharing a few facts. First, and most importantly to us, is that our client satisfaction scores have been steadily rising for three and a half years and are currently at an all-time high with a number of the largest health systems in the country being "Raving Fans" of Influence Health because of (i) the excellent service we provide, (ii) the measurable marketing results we are able to achieve on their behalf, and (iii) our long-term vision. Second, because so many of our clients are highly satisfied, we are experiencing high year-over-year growth in sales bookings which means our future is bright. Finally, while we are always striving to make Influence Health a better place to work, our employee turnover rates are not exceedingly high for our industry. Through the addition of new and innovative benefits, investments in employee training and professional development, and employee health and wellness, we are making steady progress towards our goal of becoming one of the best places to work in healthcare!
