Pros

Work/life balance is a pro

Cons

High turnover rate in upper management and services staff year over year directly impacting client morale, employee morale (domino effect of resignations) and performance. Be prepared for regular company-wide layoffs, despite any promotion promises, in desperate attempts for them to look more profitable on paper after bad product visions.

It is not just a figure of speech when we say that it is never easy to part ways with valuable employees and colleagues, and it always hurts when we learn that an employee's experience at Influence Health left them with a negative long-term perception of the company. While we don't want to start an argument, we do think it is important to respond to this review by sharing a few facts. First, and most importantly to us, is that our client satisfaction scores have been steadily rising for three and a half years and are currently at an all-time high with a number of the largest health systems in the country being "Raving Fans" of Influence Health because of (i) the excellent service we provide, (ii) the measurable marketing results we are able to achieve on their behalf, and (iii) our long-term vision. Second, because so many of our clients are highly satisfied, we are experiencing high year-over-year growth in sales bookings which means our future is bright. Finally, while we are always striving to make Influence Health a better place to work, our employee turnover rates are not exceedingly high for our industry. Through the addition of new and innovative benefits, investments in employee training and professional development, and employee health and wellness, we are making steady progress towards our goal of becoming one of the best places to work in healthcare!

Pros

flexible vacations and time off Pretty decent benefits Great employees excluding upper management

Cons

Company had a great vision last year and was finally on track to do well! This past year, not so much....there was an reorganization of the Services team that was decided by some folks in upper management which hasn't been working out. Really bad morale especially when they flag you as being unproductive for working 40 hours/week; expectation is to work at least 50 hours/week. No wonder so many are under water with their accounts. If you criticize or complain at all, you are viewed weak and toxic to the team! Leadership has no empathy for those working their butts off! You are told everyone is dispensable and that they have resumes stacked a mile long to replace you! The internal communication is poor! No transparency between departments and you scramble to figure out who to ask what for any information! The leadership, especially the COO comes up with these grandiose ideas, expects people beneath him to execute but he never follows thru! It's like watching a clutch of chickens running around with their heads cut off all the while he's patting HIMSELF on the back! Great people are leaving that ARE hard to replace and believe this is just the start of a domino effect!

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspectives on what it was like for you to work at Influence Health. We are incredibly disappointed that this was how you experienced your time working with us because if there is ANYTHING we know to be true as a company, it is that our people are our greatest asset. Our latest customer satisfaction survey (NPS) reflects this. Not only did we receive the highest aggregate score we've ever received, but 44% of our customers actually took the time to write positive comments about our people and the level of service they receive from us. Obviously, it is critical to our success that each and every one of our high-performing employees feels appreciated and inspired to do their best work. This is why we have worked hard to create a results-oriented culture. To us, this means our employees operate with the mindset that they are personally accountable for meeting commitments, empowered to make decisions and suggestions, and also enjoy the freedom and flexibility to alter their schedule and take time off when needed, without preset limits. Some weeks this means working 50 hours; some weeks it means working 32. We've even gone so far as to offer every employee a 30-day paid sabbatical every five years to encourage a healthy work-life balance. Yes, there is a lot of change at Influence Health as we pride ourselves on being nimble and responsive to the rapidly changing healthcare market we serve, but we genuinely believe we offer a very highly competitive working environment for people who want to be part of a winning team that is making a real difference in healthcare. It is our sincere hope that you have gone on to find the right fit for you. Be well!

Pros

The benefits are fantastic, the work is rewarding, the people are some of the most talented I've ever worked with, and the technology is cutting-edge. Lots of opportunities to learn and contribute.

Cons

For the most part, the people are great but there are a handful of complaining and negative employees that need to go find a job somewhere else. They look for the negative in everything and try to drag everyone down. No company is perfect but this company has many more pros than cons.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on life at Influence Health. We read every review and we incorporate all the feedback we receive into our leadership meetings and efforts to continuously make Influence Health a great place to work. One of the most important things every employee can do is to "lead from where you are" which includes encouraging your colleagues to bring their suggestions for improvement forward. If you regularly find yourself in a situation working with someone whose negativity is harmful to you or others, we would encourage you to speak to your leader or HR. If given the opportunity, we may be able to turn that situation around for both you and the unhappy employee. Thanks again!
