There are way too many - but I will mention a few: Management picks favorites. No raises or bonuses. No feeling of job security. Customers, especially established ones, are forgotten and feel slighted by the company. 'Sell it' at any means....even if that means lying through your teeth to unsuspecting prospect! Veteran employees are let go, while new ones are saved. Information conveyed to employees are not always honest. True southern 'hostiltality'.

Poor decisions and lack of strategic focus. Leadership doesn't define desired outcomes, so there's no clear plan or direction and different groups have competing priorities. The sales strategy is to lie about capabilities, but they're careful in contracts to avoid liability. They use common venture capital strategies to keep expenses low... No pay raises, elimination of middle management, elimination of good employees to avoid a threat to their own job, acceptance of risks that won't be a problem until after the company is sold... the list is long.
