Pros

Met some good lifelong friends, free food, barista, wfh benefit, paid for holiday parties/events.

Cons

Pay is awful, job is so boring - once described as a glorified copy and paste system and, with that, not a lot of transferable skills. Not treated like adults, very school like dynamic. Been at breaking point most days from sheer boredom - no point in taking on more responsibilities as pay doesn’t reflect the efforts. Lots of anxiety inducing pressure and not a lot of understanding when tasks aren’t completed. Managers breathe down your neck. I could go on and on but you get the point. Don’t work here!

Pros

Free coffee, the person leading the training is friendly and really good at his job (Woking)

Cons

School like environment - get treated like a child by management; they don't let you leave early if you arrive early even though the transport runs every half an hour WFH only in effect after 6m - This is so pointless, coming in 5 days a week to be on a training system and not being on a live system; only offered it to me once they found out I was leaving after being there for a month Cliquey - most of the team leaders are rude and very unfriendly Management - the manager of the office sits on her phone and she's very unapproachable They watch you like a hawk - I was unwell when working and needed to frequently use the toilet, they picked up on it and expected me to tell them even though it was personal information - my work was not being effected. Pay - the pay was awful. Bad environment WFH - I could've wfh when I had doctors appointments instead of missing a day of work but they did not allow it. No career progression

Pros

Not much to say unfortunately.

Cons

The pay is really awful. Pay review should happen once a year, but each year it gets pushed back a little further. Also bear in mind they like to give out promotions just after pay review, and this means you won’t get a rise but will do a lot more work. I do not believe those at the very top realise at all how much work the employees actually take on. They are also extremely rigid on working from home (even though the job is carried out without a single fault from home). They will mention their hybrid approach to you, but please be aware not everybody is behind this - they are NOT flexible. It’s fixed, you must come in at least 3 days a week and if for whatever reason (even a medical appointment) you cannot come in on your set days, you must swap for another day. God forbid you work from home more than 3 days a week. Even during the pandemic, we had to explain our reasoning for wanting to work from home, and it was very frowned upon. You WILL be micromanaged, so just prepare for that. Your every move is watched, you will be made to feel like a school student and patronised for your age (they only hire young people who are easy to push around). The managers are not qualified to be managers and are only where they are because they know who to be friendly with. Be the loudest person in the room and pick your friends wisely - that is the key to success there. Also watch out for the staff turnover. A few employees will leave every month - don’t ignore that. There’s a reason.
