Pros

They provide their own equipment. Flexible scheduling.

Cons

Too many issues with this company to be able to name them all in a paragraph, so i'll hit the major ones. No transparency, the way the system operates depends on what each group manager's needs are for that day. All the tools you're given as an employee to do the job with are broken or somehow glitched. The calling system is virtually non-functional at this point, and they have everyone operating from pre-fabricated lists designed to control WHO STAYS AND WHO GOES. They constantly thank you for putting up with of their shortcomings as a company, but when your metrics don't meet up to previous promises they made over a year ago, all of that is forgotten and you're treated like a problem employee, even though your powerless to bring about any positive changes due to the constraints they've created in their own system. It's basically a trap at this point, the only people being hired are ones they think they can use to prop their "favorites" up. I assure you, I did some hardcore "looking around" in this company, I had worked other departments just to get a better view. And I was there way longer than 6 months. Everything about this company at it's core behavior is about their ability to operate it at super cheap levels. No matter the personal, mental, or financial cost to the lower tier employee. I lost 2,500 dollars trying to stay on with this company. People don't do that if "they didn't make the cut" or "don't have it in them" to complete the work. In all just stay away from this company if you value the sanctity of you mental health and your most precious commodity: TIME. Because they'll try every trick in the book to rob you of it, for the low price of 12 bucks an hour.

Pros

The cons outweigh any perceived pro

Cons

Only people they seem to care about in the "people driven data" are the investors. Toxic work environment. They've botched this merger to the point of a "them v me" mentality in every department. Then fueled the fire by also raising prices on product. So everyone hates everyone. The good talent leaves and there's no effort to keep them. Then the people who stay are forced to work extra but it doesn't mean more pay. Have no problem hiring anyone to do the jobs that don't make a liveable wage (the jobs that actually bring in the money for the investors) but other than that there's no diversity whatsoever. Easily proven by executive team. No inclusion or diversity initiatives. The culture is mostly misery. Your hard work and effort to go above and beyond is rewarded by making that work mandatory. Pay isn't a liveable wage, which is super unfortunate given the nature of our business with access to PII for thousands. You'd think being held to that kind of standard in confidentiality and security would get you at least the cost of flipping burgers. And everyone wonders why Unions are a thing again. Benefits are laughable. We were told they'd get better post merger but they are worse. Way worse. HR can't be bothered to help. "Thank you for your feedback" is all you're going to get from them. They absolutely do not care about you. They don't care about paying you right, treating you right, or listening to your feedback. They do not care about anything except revenue goals. HR puts the scope of their job on the managers or supervisor. But you better believe they're going to twist numbers to make sure you think everyone's happy and to keep investors pleased. You might think working mostly from home is good, but not when you're micromanaged every second of the day and there's no work/life balance encouraged.

Pros

Fully Remote - no commute Flexible schedule

Cons

Started with WSS and stayed through the merge to InformData. Training is different from when I was first trained, but it can be vague and not fully prepare you for live work. Once you become fully trained/cleared, you are heavily relied upon and end up doing a lot of the work others do not want to do, while others pick and choose. This is due to lack of organization in many areas. Communication is almost nonexistent, not just through individual teams but the company as a whole. Received a raise after a year but it was a couple of cents added to my already small hourly salary. They do have quarterly bonuses. The downside to these is you have to go far above and beyond to obtain them. It appears there is little to no advancement in the company from this role, so I do not recommend this to someone looking for a career path. In regards to supervision, it heavily depends on luck and who you are assigned to. Beware some supervisors are very condescending with an almost god complex, while others are kind and genuinely want to help you succeed. Yes there is flexibility with schedule and working from home but it is a desktop set up, not a laptop so it is not fully flexible. Beware the "busy" times of year, as they are not afraid to impose mandatory overtime of upwards of 16 hours a week. Yes it's paid but if you're like me and actually want a weekend, 10 hour days are grueling. Even then you might be doing hours on the weekend. If you have high levels of persistence like me, then go for it but with caution and low expectations.
