Involved CEO and Management

Pros

CEO is very involved with the business and actively presents to the entire workforce every quarter. Management takes time to get to know their employees and wants to be as involved as they can. Flexibility around work/life balance. I have never been employed at a business more willing to work with whatever schedule you need.

Cons

Occasionally can feel that there is special treatment for certain employees over others - but this has definitely improved over the last few years. Yes, there was a large turnover period as mentioned in other posts, but that has definitely improved because the right people are getting in the positions and we are out of the pandemic crush. Salary - This seems a common theme. They do their best, but sometimes it isn't enough. There is a standard structure for raises and bonuses, but little flexibility in being able to adjust that.

Pros

I spent just about three years with IWP and saw a lot of growth and change while I was there. The core group of directors are supportive, they listen, they give helpful feedback, and they have a win-for-all approach. The executive team are transparent, welcoming, driven, and support ideas for improvement and development. There is a culture committee, headed by a group of managers who genuinely care about their teams and want to make sure they feel seen, heard, and appreciated. The growing HR team is very active in the company and have a strong rapport with staff and management, If you're looking for a solid company with a supportive and engaging leadership group, you've come to the right place. The benefits are solid with low out of pocket costs and great coverage. They have tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, tiered life insurance, disability insurance, wellness reimbursement benefits, and so much more. PTO is generous and they review salaries annually to make sure pay remains competitive. In 2023 they earned Great Place to Work status with a 94% approval rating from staff. Many employees have been there for 10+ years. All in all, it is a great organization full of great people.

Cons

Not really a con - there's so much going on and all of it is important. Change is hard for many people, but it gives people room to learn and expand our skillsets. Increasing communication when able and appropriate can help some who may be having a difficult time with changes and adjustments.
