FLEXIBLE TIME AND HAVING A PAY CHECK...AND SOME OF THE WORKERS...

Cons

Management is poor, disconnected, and have no idea how to structure and run a multinational company! They hire top talent to fix there mess, then quickly find a reason to get rid of them to save a dollar. They will offer manager positions great money, pressure you to solve an issue, then fire you when the India team learns the new process. They will fire good ppl to afford the new executive with hopes they will solve there issues, then fire that executive if they correct their business practice or process. Highly egotistical owner and executive's who fire instead of training or solving issues. Managers and cliques getting raises and promotions while workers have gone years without a review in Duluth.*** The review from the recruiter is a LIE cause there is no female over the recruiting team!**** All mangers do as told for fear of being berated and yelled at from executive management! I have seen grown men - executives being screamed at and called stupid. So go against this advice and your own peril. I ignored the reviews and lived to tell the truth only by shear grace. DO NOT LEAVE A JOB FOR A POSITION WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Pros

Some interesting opportunities, multiple locations, pay is competitive. 401 offered (unmatched), w2 employer so they pay payroll tax, option for limited PTO as consultant. Theres a limited healthcare option.

Cons

Lack of timely and proactive support, generally no professional development. No feedback or recognition of positive engagements, only feedback is at time of rolloff or for negatives. Doesn't seem to be a "bench" for consultants, so sustainability is questionable. Work/life balance, schedule, etc is solely arranged between the consultant and client with little to no support by agency. Only two healthcare options, cheap and substandard (need secondary coverage) or a Cadillac plan that's decent but exceedingly expensive. Makes more sense to join via public marketplace unless you're already covered by a spouse and just want something extra.

Started 10 years ago. I like my job, I like the people I work with and I like the company. I don't know of too many other jobs where i can earn as much money as I want. The more people I place the higher my income. When I don't have alot of jobs I source candidates for the next round of jobs that allows me to fill jobs quickly. It's about staying ahead and having a pool of people ready to go. I have a manager that is flexible and if I need to leave an hour early, she knows I will make it up along the way. ACS gives people the tools to do well, it's the people that don't know how to use the tools that fail and write poor reviews.
