Pros

-The people are nice and fun to work with if you click with that kind of personality. -Looks good on a resume to those who don't know what the company is or how it operates

Cons

After getting a much better paying job that respects its employers I realized I need to inform others of what they may be getting into before its too late. -If you aren't a big drinker you will feel uncomfortable at times because it is expected that you hangout on the weekends and drink with everyone. -You are expected to be in your chair working at 7:30am every morning on the dot and cannot leave a second earlier than 5pm -The office can get get very clique-y, and you won't be included in one unless you go out and drink with everyone on the weekends or stay late at work to impress the AM's. - A lot is expected of you with little direction and if you don't perform your Account Manager will be upset. -10 PTO days but they make you feel guilty if you want to use one. -It feels like you are just a number. I was with this company for a short amount of time but I witnessed so many people leave and be replaced the next day. -You are encouraged to convince desperate people to accept a job that is below what they are looking for in pay even if we can pay them more.. you don't tell them that we can give them more money so that your Account Manger can make more money. It feels very wrong. -Role-playing was the absolute worst and they would have you do it on the spot randomly in a meeting with all of the recruiters. -Pay for your own parking -Underpaid, also empty promises of make a lot of money. Telling you how successful you could be if you stayed in this miserable job for a little longer was there way of holding on to recruiters as long as possible. -Account managers would often tell recruiters how to dress (had to wear heels and weren't allowed to wear winter boots into the building in the snow), not to come in late, I was even told not to switch out my heels for flats before 5pm at 4:55pm, etc, and these AM's were only a couple months into this role. It seemed as thought they got power hungry quickly and recruiters were frustrated by it.

Pros

This place will make you work very hard and whip you into shape with a good amount of direction from your assigned account manager. They do role plays with you and teach you the basics. They are very good at selling this place as the best place ever to work....

Cons

THE CULTURE. It is extremely toxic and frustrating if you are not an ex-sorority girl or frat star. They recruit people from greek life that have never worked before so you are surrounded by a bunch of clones who are extremely fake. The management either likes you or they don't and if they don't, they pull you aside and claim your "behavior" isn't a fit aka you're not like everyone else. You have to be in at 7:30 and can't leave a minute before 5. You are expected to meet numbers, you are NOT ACTUALLY HELPING PEOPLE. I was forced to call people just to call people to meet my ridiculously high stats. People talk bad about others and rumors spread like wildfire. They make you ring a gong everytime you get someone a job and everyone gets up from their desk to give you a high five... it is a very weird place. last thing... TURNOVER. I should have known from the beginning that this place was bad because I heard that people get hired and leave within a month. I was one of those people... I have never hated a job more. Please be warned.

Pros

Employees become close friends, free breakfast on Friday, if you are lucky you can make a lot of money, once you leave it is easy to find another job because it is widely known amongst other businesses that IG is like working in a sweatshop.

Cons

If you like an immature culture, being micromanaged, and being motivated through fear this is the place for you! Insight Global is a scam to get young college grads who don’t know any better to work ridiculous hours for no pay and be brainwashed to think this is the greatest company in the world. Politics and gossip are a staple of the day to day activities. Hard work will not be rewarded if you are not kissing up to upper management. Management contradicts themselves daily regarding the “rules” and expectations of employees. Employees are not valued and are seen as easily replaceable, and they are not afraid to let you know it. Turnover rate is ridiculous yet they view it as employees who leave are not “hardcore enough for this company”. If you have a 4 year degree you can EASILY find a more fulfilling job where you will be respected and valued. Do not waste your time with this company (more like cult).
