Pros
I accepted this job because of the people I met during the interview process . They were exactly the kind of people I wanted to surround myself with everyday at work, and the kind of people I wanted to manage me as I was starting my career out of college. However, as much as I love the culture here and the opportunities I've gotten to be on yachts or tailgating at Viking/Packer football games, I've grown to appreciate more and more the opportunity they have laid out for retirement through a 401k plan and earning stock with every sales contest. The longer I've been here the more impressed I have become with Insight Global.
Cons
It's challenging! I told them during the interview that I'm competitive, I'm driven and I want to be number 1 in everything I do. I can absolutely see now that is the attitude you need to have if you want to be successful here... or in any sales role. The first year of sales will be the hardest, you'll put in a lot of work into it, but it's extremely rewarding. Make sure that is something you are prepared for!
