      you get money+employment, at least it's something

      everything. they expect 110% for less than 23/hr (in sf). they don't listen, keep on project managers that are racist, sexist and just overall horrible

      Pros

      -Young staff they hire college grads only -Only 3 days in the office a week -I guess a pro can be the culture and energy but you REALLY have to be an extrovert and love high energy 24/7

      Cons

      -horrible commission structure. You make nothing until you pass $3k/week in profit/week. Aka you’re working for base salary until that happens which takes about 18-24 months. -only 10% so 10 out of every 100 account managers achieve quota to make $30k in commission -culture is intense at its very definition. 8am team meetings every single day. -micro managing to the max

      Good starter job while young, but not anything long term!

      Pros

      Good opportunity for training out of college - gave decent expectations for corporate America. Depending on your territory, your clients can/will keep you there because the workplace itself/people do not.

      Cons

      Benefits are too expensive on a weekly basis, they only match $250 per year for your 401k (regardless of how much you contribute), the base salary for an Account Manager is $44,000 and is $20-35k below the local Kansas City average for identical staffing AM roles, you don’t have access to the “stock” that YOU earn through milestones, and you pay out of pocket for customer expenses as an Account Manager (no company card to take that financial liability off young individuals shoulders). The Kansas City office, specifically, has an extremely insane amount of toxicity and frat-like/sorority-like drama. There is 0 work-life balance. At times, management was encouraging coming in 1 hour early, skipping lunches, staying 1-2 hours after hours in order to hit goals (without 0 opportunity for Over Time pay). Local management doesn’t allow for challenging questions or professional feedback.
