Pros

Insight is a great company. Since I started working here everyone I have work with is nice and easy to work with. Since I don't have any family near by they have become my second family. Insight have been there in a time of need and worked with me on my schedule so I could take care of my family.

Cons

Depending on your health the benefits may not be the best but in my opinion the company overall is great and don't mind paying a little more for my health insurance.

I just joined as a Technical Recruiter and will say that I was very impressed with the hiring and onboarding process. Things moved along quickly, were consistent with their messaging and enjoyed my conversations with everyone I interviewed with. I joined for the opp, people, values and culture. Big company with small company feel. Expectations have been exceeded so far.

A professional environment for stable employment, less so for advancement

Pros

Laid back yet professional work environment, reasonably flexible with telecommuting options and work/life balance. Pay is reasonable, and benefits are adequate. Regular annual raises as long as the company does well.

Cons

Lacks a traditional health plan, so for people who have a chronic illness (or a family member with one) things can get expensive. Starts off with only 2 weeks off for a salaried employee and that's paltry. Senior management seems a bit out of touch with the front lines. Lack of promotional opportunities. Within finance several managers have left over the past few years and instead of promoting from within, the responsibilities for that person were simply dispersed among other managers. I have applied for internal opportunities 10 times in 5 years and wasn't even approached for a conversation all but two times.
