So many different career paths to choose from. Very much about making sure their employees are happy, satisified & taken care of. Plenty of opportunity to grow and climb within the company

Cons

End of month, quarter & year and not so much fun for all of us. Literally new products created everyday to learn become familar with for our clients needs,

Pros

We are treated like we are valued by the company and our teammates. Working in sales for Insight has so many great benefits including contests, raffles, "fun Friday" activities and A LOT of free food. There is a huge focus on showing appreciation for one another. I have also learned more at Insight than I have in any other position through the training that is offered by the company and the product vendors we work with. You really don't have to be a technology expert you just need to have a genuine interest in helping others, learning, and doing the right thing for the customer.

Cons

The first year in sales is tough and it is a grind. You will start out with very little or no buying accounts, it is up to you to put the work in to grow your business, but if you have the drive to make it happen you will absolutely be rewarded. Also, the compensation plan can be a little complex because it is frequently being updated, it can be hard for you and your manager to keep track of.

Pros

They have a lot teams to support sales from engineering and do have some pretty cool capabilities.

Cons

Pay is rarely correct. Always fixed but need to monitor commissions closely. No idea what they are doing in federal. They think you can slap a new name on commercial ideas and it should take off in federal. Constantly moving backwards in compensation as compared to federal competitors.
