      Pros

      A lot can be learned managing the devices and responding to their problems Peers are friendly Overtime often available Great place to start your career They pay for certifications

      Cons

      50/50 shot of getting a Engineer to explain something to you, half are nice and willing to talk to you, other half are lazy, rude, and look down on you Pay is VERY far below market value Rotating shifts, a few times a year your schedule changes (overnights, evenings, mornings, weekends..etc) High turnover Poor communication between engineers, delivery managers, NOC technicians 24x7x365 workcenter Continuous change, hard to keep up with new procedures Limited opportunity for career growth

      Pros

      Teammates were great! Always willing to help each other out even at the last minute.

      Cons

      Management is only there for themselves. Middle management only cares about meeting their numbers to get their own bonus.

      Pros

      I was in the NOC. Good starting place to launch a career in networking or server administration. They pay for certifications that you pass.

      Cons

      Pay is very low. PTO is hard to get approved. Poor collaboration between groups. Basically zero room for growth/promotion. They would bring in less experienced people to higher for positions on the engineering team because they could pay them less than more seasoned techs with experience. Managed services is having major changes, several layoffs and management shakeups.
