Pros

Insight's services wing has many fantastic teammates who I enjoyed working with. Great people trying their best to sell, win and deliver to clients.

Cons

Insight acquires one or more services companies each year and tries to integrate them into the services org. Ideally you would consider this as "growth". However, as other reviewers have mentioned, Insight's services org regularly changes its business approach, such as reducing the sales team and/or their compensation, and reducing the delivery org. This has led to a downward spiral of decreased sales, profit, and headcount. The goal is to increase profitability and stock price, but it's not working, and you can be sure employees are scared and looking elsewhere.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We want to start by acknowledging your praise for our teammates. We completely agree that we have fantastic, dedicated people trying their best to serve our clients, and we are incredibly proud of the work they do. We also recognize your concerns about the impact of acquisitions and frequent organizational changes. Navigating transformation while preserving stability is a tough balance, and we’re doing our best to support teammates through it. Our goal is to build a stable, profitable business where our employees feel secure and can grow their careers. Your feedback underscores the need for us to improve how we manage and communicate strategic shifts to ensure our team feels confident in our direction. We are committed to better supporting our teams through these changes and creating a more consistent path forward.

Pros

PTO Hybrid Paid parental leave

Cons

The company has done an obscene amount of layoffs over the last 2 years. My region used to have 22 employees, now has 4. That number was dwindled down through 4 separate waves of layoffs. The pay is NOT competitive. The culture IS competitive. Management and higher ups seem to only care about metrics, value, profit, etc. The pipeline is struggling and the projects employees are getting put on are dumpster fires. However, we're told "you're at insight because you're the top of the top. Everyone here is worthy of insight excellence." The culture is do more, with less, because that's how "amazing we are". Truthfully, they need profit and are struggling to get clients. They have dwindled down the US team via layoffs, only to hire a ton of people over seas. It's brought morale of the company down.

Thank you for your candid feedback and for your years of service to Insight. While we aim to foster a sense of pride in our work, it is clear from your feedback that our words are not matching the employee experience. This is not our intention. We hear you — change can be challenging, especially in a fast-moving business. Your feedback is valuable and helps inform how we approach future transitions.
