Pros

Average benefits and medical clinic onsite

Cons

I worked for there for over 10 plus years. The compensation is below industry average and changes almost annually. There's a big turnover of employees, due to the lack of Truly Caring about its Employees. There are packs and if you're not "IN", then you won't advance your career, the process is very flawed. Hunger, Heart & Harmony, doesn't exist, except in word.

Thank you for your review. Insight values its employees very much. It's the people at Insight that make the company special, and Insight values itself on on it's values-driven culture and workplace. Insight's compensation plans are also very competitive and are evaluated and reviewed every year to make sure they are comparable to others within the market.

Pros

Very open to remote work, comfortable offices, great value and branding statement, room and freedom to make a difference

Cons

Poor leadership, extreme lack of clarity and direction, essentially a complete lack of onboarding or orientation. You need to be able to come in and find your own path. Management is quite siloed in their own areas and there is little collaboration between groups. Inconsistent processes and no drive to end the chaos.

Thank you for your feedback. The management team does a tremendous job leading the company in the right direction by following it's mission and by executing the values of Hunger, Heart and Harmony. Insight has also been working on breaking down the silos and providing unity among different departments. We appreciate your feedback and thank you for your review.

Falling Short

Pros

The sales atmosphere is constantly buzzing in the Harl office and can be infectious for motivation. Benefits were about standard but there is an employee assistance program offered for those in need which shows they have some compassion for their employees.

Cons

While it is constantly voiced that they care for their employees it is hard to see that on the daily basis. For someone that is hungry to learn the resources offered fall short of growing your potential and running up against poor management or favoritism can really sabotage scaling the corporate ladder. There is a lot of talk but very slow improvement. Processes are complex for sales and not everyone is trained efficiently causing errors. Too many departments still operate in silos causing duplicate efforts or poor communication.

We appreciate the feedback. We really do try to take care of our employees, our In It Together foundation which raises money for Insight teammates is one of our most unique benefits, and in 2018 we were able to help 88 teammates in crisis. We are always working to improve our processes, and have made recently automated several of our processes to help make things simpler and quicker. We really value your feedback and appreciate you taking the time to write it.
