Pros

Insight is a tech reselling company that partners with over 5,000 tech manufacturers. With that much partnership it makes upper mobility and movement very easy.

Cons

In comparison to other tech reselling companies and positions - insight seems to have a much lower standard of pay and salary. It's the number one reason people leave Insight

Pros

Insight has a lot of great people working there (not managers). They do fun events and provide a few fun perks of being an employee.

Cons

The management is absolutely awful. They do not pay well at all and do not appreciate those who work for them. HR is absolutely useless as they do not help their employees one bit. They look out for the managers while pretending to be on the side of the employee. If you are not liked by a manager then forget about every furthering your career or even just working there for an extended period of time, they will shut that down super quick. If they want you out, they will get you out by putting you in a place where you have no other option than to quit or be fired. I worked so hard there to correct the behavior that was "wrong" by management (because being a friendly, outgoing person is such a WRONG thing) and in the end it wasn't enough and I was let go. I was not allowed to pack my belongings even though HR approved it, my manager would not allow it. I received my belongings through the mail a week after I was let go with 4 items broken and 2 items never returned to me. I was treated like a convict in front of others when I did absolutely nothing wrong. It was rude, embarrassing and completely uncalled for. If you do not get on the good side of your manager, you are totally screwed from the beginning. The upper management treats those below them like they are "the help" there is no respect, they will even put their head down while walking past you in the hallway to avoid saying hello or even making eye contact. Again, unless you can get on their good side right away by completely sucking up, don't even bother with this company.

Pros

Pay is good and management allows space for your management style. Not a micro management environment.

Cons

Health Benefits are poor. Incentive programs are limited for standard employees and low-level management. Budgets are too tight to allow for technological growth and advancement which can stifle growth and success of projects.

We are happy to hear that you have freedom to make your team great. Over the past few years, we have invested in various health care solutions for our teammates. This investment includes a competitive insurance plan, a Health Savings Account, an on-site health center in Arizona, one preferred network in Chicago along with a variety of other wellness initiatives like Bring Your Fit to Work Day. One of our focuses is to ensure our teammates have access to resources they need to keep themselves and their families healthy.
