Pros

Dedicated folks in social work programs, PACE, Friendship Line, Connect, Education and Elder Abuse Prevention. People working long hours, with not much opportunity for advancement or pay raises (some not for years)

Cons

Don't need both a CEO and COO. The CEO makes too much money, and his job (as well as his vision for IOA) is unclear. Home Care Dept is costly, and bleeding $.

Social work staff is hard working and congenial. Great environment to hone your craft.

Benefits are so, so. Management a little out of step with supporting front line workers.
