      Pros

      As a whole, the team of people from the senior executive team down is truly a great team of people. Approachable, friendly, fair, but with high expectations. The brand new, state-of-the-art facility is beautiful with room to expand. The location in Acton is super convenient and near eateries, gas stations, shopping, activities and living. And finally, the product is unique and truly live-saving and makes coming to work each day truly fulfilling.

      Sometimes there is an obvious lack of resources and bandwidth.

      Insulet is a fast-paced and growing company with innovative products having a concrete impact on improving T1D patient’s lives. It is impressive to see all our teams, peers, junior to senior management moving forward with the same objective – making sure we are delivering innovative products and always being one step ahead. I never have seen so much passion and drive to succeed in making a positive impact on patients and their families. Our teams across Europe and our US colleagues genuinely share the same values with transparent communication. We have the unique opportunity to establish our footprint across Europe – building a new business.

      Cons

      It sounds obvious, but we are a new fast-paced company in a very competitive market across Europe. We are not perfect, but we make sure to improve every day. If you are looking for a 9 to 5 position and an easy job, this would probably not be the right move for you. Each team member joins Insulet for its incredible opportunity to build a new structure and a new way of thinking within the T1D market. That includes risks, challenges, and last-minute changes of plans…because the market is evolving (quite fast). No one said it would be easy, but the passion, positivity and energy are electrifying! For anyone who is not afraid to think outside of the box, roll up your sleeves and get the job done – welcome on board to a new adventure! It might be scary, but I guarantee you will love it!
