Pros

Good place for young person to learn the ropes of call center, customer service and collections. There was really no office culture for lower level CSR's; however, managers seemed to have a great time...especially when you had a customer on the phone and had to wait for them to finish their non-work related story to another manager. Honestly felt like a machine

Cons

Very poor management that treated CSR's like dirt. Training was ridiculous as most of it learned on the floor, but you still had to sit through wasteful training sessions.

Pros

Work-life balance can be maintained in most environments within GC Services. The ability to trade and give hours away is a plus and a huge perk. The pay is pretty good especially if you have been with the organization for a while and the 401K plan is perfect with 50 to 100% matching when the organization does well.

Cons

Not all managers are professional and the use of mental warfare can be tiresome. Not all their centers, especially in El Paso, TX work in the same fashion. Rules quickly change from one environment to another and sadly, the negativity from one center to another is horrible and de-motivating.
