The potential for greatness remains elusive

Pros

The company has great people to work with for the most part. Upper management has a lot of potential to turn the center into something great. Investment in technology was good and the continuous training to broaden knowledge was nice.

Cons

There was a continuous failure to realize the human assets that the center had. When someone was doing well instead of celebrating that and assisting that person or group to do better, there was an air of it still wasn't good enough. Upper management felt that they knew everything, although actual time out on the floor with employees was almost non-existent.

Pros

Fun atmosphere to come to work. I enjoy most of the people there, as everyone seems to be able to take the good and the bad and let it go. I haven't seen anything to make me want to leave or dislike my job there. But it is what it is, a job. For the division I work for, I am M-F until 5pm. After my career working 70 or more hours all days of the week, it is refreshing for once.

Cons

The pay is 1/3 of what I am used to getting. It isn't bad for the job I do, but it is lower than I would like. But I am also doing 3/4 less work so I am ok with it. Just an FYI, if you get injured and miss more than 2 weeks, WITH a doctors note, they will ask you to resign due to health reasons or even fire you. This happened to me. I broke my leg, had surgery, called in everyday as I was supposed to and since I would not resign they let me go. The next day I was supposed to pick my benefits. THIS is how the company treats you.
