Promotions and hiring decisions are too political often controlled by 1 person, minimal internal promotions, sub par benefits, poor communication throughout the company. 20% of the people do the work, the rest spend their time on politics. Employees have too much responsibility and often lack the necessary resources. Unrealistic expectations combined with inconsistent standards result in very poor morale.
