      IDT - not a bad place to work

      Pros

      It is an established semiconductor company. Many groups consist of long-term engineers led by long-term mangers, none of whom put in more than 40 hours a week. If you want a good work-life balance, this company has it.

      Cons

      Things sometimes happen slowly. If you have a lot of drive, this may not be the place for you.

      Pros

      IDT really values work/life balance and offers ample opportunities for you to grow within your focus area. Much of this depends on your direct manager. I'm able to work from home when needed. This helps a great deal.

      Cons

      There's know cross departmental communication across business units. So the right hand doesn't necessarily know what the left hand is doing. This leads to a disjointed company culture.
