Pros

Got the vision for brighter future. Colleagues are very friendly and informative. All the labs are fully functional and well equipped with advance tools. Help is always there, just need to ask !

Cons

To have better professional life and growth in industry. I think, one needs to choose manager over the company. Very often work became hectic due to lack of synchronization between people involved in project. For FA team, Job responsibilities are same even though there is huge difference in educational background, experience, ability to handle project, and numerous other reasons. Employee with strong educational background will not get recognized under the name of experience and bureaucracy.

Pros

There is not much I can say that is positive except for the employees that remain at IDT. Over the years, I have very much enjoyed working with some of the most collaberative and respectful group that I have every worked with and for. It certainly has been a good experience and made it easier for me to implement projects. Wireless charging products have a shot at being successful but the current management may not have the patience for the timeline for the ramp in the architecture and hit the panic button.

Cons

Gee, where do I start. The new CEO and CFO lack a vision to grow the company. The CEO came from the activist that took over the company about a 18 months ago. In my opinion, all he wants to do is cut the investments in the growth drivers and sell off business units that will not generate revenue within the next 6 months. This is typical Wall Street mentality and it kills innovation for a high-tech company. As Forbes magazine pointed out not long ago, it sure looks like they are trying to package the company for sale. The new CFO is just mindlessly following the direction of the board and has absolutely no conviction or ideas of his own. The morale right now is terrible after the many layoffs. Nobody wants to put in the effort to win and excel in their positions, and management doesn't seem to care that morale is that bad. It is very depressing showing up for work every day right now. Compared to how it used to be, it is like a ghost town in the buildings right now. A lot of the good business leaders have left the company the last 18 months. The current leaders just don't have the talent to lead. I myself will be now be leaving the company soon as I started to put a lot of my energy into a job search. The few good people left will be leaving soon as I know they are all actively looking for an exit. This review is not a rant. Things are really that bad at the moment. I am writing this review to help those interested in applying tor the open positions at the company, which are many due to the massive attrition, in spite of a hiring freeze. To those interested in working at IDT, unless you really need a paycheck, stay employed where you are.

Pros

Nice campus, usually great colleagues at a junior level... but senior guys are cahoots with incompetent people heading key groups, who in turn suck up to the most calculating CEO I have ever seen (a wolf in sheep's clothing)

Cons

The CEO (Waters) is a class act in corporate deception... nice smile, looks genuine, but an utterly political and mean guy, who commands his equally corrupt and spineless HR to play his games....
