      Pros

      Intel is a great place to have a career. As a global company it provides many opportunities to grow and develop, not just in depth of skills but in breadth too. The provide very comprehensive training and professional development opportunities. Our product roadmap is stellar and above all, they walk the talk on leadership integrity and social consciousness.

      Cons

      As a global company working across multiple time zones can be a challenge, having meetings late in the night and early morning is wearing over time. As an engineering company there can be a tendancy to over engineer even the simple things in life.

      Pros

      Intel is a good place to start you career. You get experience not only in technical matters but also in corporate bureaucracy. There are interesting problems to work on and plenty of chances to move around (at least when the economy is good).

      Cons

      That pay is below what is expected for the type of work done. Hours can be long. Managers don't care how long it takes you to finish your work. All the managers try to brainwash you in the Intel culture. Not sure if all parts of that culture is productive. There can be a lot of red tape to get something done. There are more meetings than there should be, but that is true for a lot of companies.
