The desire to help people learn the training that will help them get a better job and the chance for a career is why I took the job. The reality was that I was expected to forcefeed very basic information like what not to wear, proper etiquette for eating with colleagues and how to plan a budget; and make the information stretch out for 5 hrs. Heaven forbid if the students already knew the information- 90% were bored to death. It wasn't being an instructor but more like a scripted horse n pony show! Management was convince "these people" don't know how to do anything.
The business department was totally demoralizing to work in. They wanted someone with skills and knoweldge but turned around and started undermining and erroding self confidence by keeping you guessing. Team meetings turned into "pep sessions" and when you walked out it felt like you had been stabbed in the back.
